Bleakwinter Shrine is a one-man instrumental music project based in the UK, leaning heavily towards blackened post-metal and channelling big riffs, evolving dynamics & absorbing musical atmospheres.

I started the project as an outlet for riffs and styles that either didn't fit, or didn't gain much traction with other bands I was involved in. It's a great way for me to create records which I have the freedom to take my time developing ideas for, as well as fiddling around with recording techniques in my spare time. It's purely a studio hobby project, with no plans for any live presence. Ever.
